Today we are interviewing Chalie The, Author of Don't Just Speak Love
Hope you enjoy!
1) Have you written any other novels in collaboration with other
writers?
Nope, this is my first book!
2) Why do you write?
This really got me thinking. For Don’t Just Speak Love, it was
mostly because I wanted the characters I’d been dreaming about to come to life.
I wanted to know how they would wound up in their lives. I had very vague ideas
of them when they first formed in my head, and it was only when I began penning
them that I got to discover so much more about them. Getting to know them had
been incredibly toiling but fulfilling.
3) Where do the your ideas come from?
They can come from anywhere—silly or serious conversations,
movies, real life events, and music etcetera—at any time, but they usually come
to me when it’s dark and quiet. I have a hard time falling asleep at night
because they always take up too much of my mind.
4) What is the hardest thing about writing?
Rushing through other things in life in order to get down to
putting ideas into words as quickly as possible.
5) For your own reading, do you prefer eBook's or traditional
paper/hard back books?
I like both. I don’t really mind what forms the books are in;
I’m more concerned about the contents.
6) Listener or talker?
Both.
7) What do you miss most about childhood?
Can’t really think of anything. To be honest, I don’t miss
childhood.
8) You were bitten by a vampire, now what? (Or werewolf)
Now I can’t eat my favorite food anymore, so I’ll be very sad.
9) If you could be invisible for a day, what would you do?
Run to the backstage of a Justin Bieber concert—it’s the dream
of every Belieber—and watch him get ready for his show. Seeing him up close
would be so awesome. He’s an incredible person. Talented and genuine. Just
someone really amazing.
10) Sing in the rain or dance in the streets?
Sing in the rain. Though it would be great to have someone teach
me how to dance.
11) What is something you cannot live without?
My
baby girl. Her name is Blythe, and she’s two years old. She’s a Shih Tzu dog,
by the way.
